Overview
A replacement 8mm x 27m OX10 HMPE synthetic winch rope with a c/w hook.
Made from high-tech polyethylene. Synthetic rope is considerably safer than steel cable and is now mandatory in most major sanctioned off-road events. Significantly lighter than steel cable, synthetic rope doesn’t store as much energy as steel cable, meaning it won’t become as much of a projectile if it breaks.

If you are converting your steel cable winch to synthetic rope, first ensure that it is compatible with synthetic rope, some manufacturers have different drums or brake configurations to ensure that heat does not transfer to the rope. You will also need to change the old roller fairlead for a “Hawse” fairlead, we have a number of them in stock here:
