If you are converting your steel cable winch to 10mm x 40m OX10 HMPE Synthetic, first ensure that the drum is compatible with synthetic rope, some manufacturers have different drums or brake configurations to ensure that heat does not transfer to the rope. You will also need to change the old roller fairlead for a “Hawse” fairlead, we have a number of them in stock here:
